My great aunt Tzipora Heller, aka Felina. A poet and transcendental meditation teacher, daughter of the rabbi of Tzfat, 94 years old and sharper than anyone I’ve ever known. Taken at her favorite community garden in Tel Aviv where she goes to write poems every day after her breakfast. She is astonishing. In my last couple of visits we’ve been religiously meeting for our coffee ritual (scrutinizing religion, of course) at a cafe on her block. She drinks a large latte with 4 packs of Splenda. I’m honored to be considered her friend.
